The Swedish Association of Health Professionals wanted to alert politicians that 3,000 people die annually because of misstakes within the healthcare. The Swedish Association of Health Professionals have solutions that they want to implement, which will reduce the number of deaths.
Every year Sweden’s political elite arrive to the island Gotland, during something called Almedalsveckan (Almedalen week). 3000 crosses were placed right next to the airport, that the politicians arrive in. The goal was to capture the attention of politicians and to discuss concrete solutions to reduce deaths.
